Sara Cristaldi is a Senior Advisor at ISPI. She is the editorial supervisor of the Institute’s “ISPI Watch” Newsletter providing in-depth analyses of Business Scenarios in different regions of the world. She also engages in journalism and writes op-ed pieces, focusing on foreign affairs, world economy and global cities. She used to work as an editor for “Il Sole 24 Ore”, the leading Italian economic and financial newspaper. Until July 2010 she was in charge of the World Emerging Markets Desk dealing with issues related to globalization.

Cristaldi’s career in journalism started in 1978 and has published extensively as a scholar in international politics and economics. She has also published for magazines such as “Relazioni Internazionali” (1974-1978) and “Mondo Economico” (1978-1984; 1993-1997), and newspapers such as Il Corriere della Sera (1984-1990) and Il Sole 24 Ore (1997-2010), where she also worked as a Managing Editor for the website. Between 2011 and 2016, she used to work in the Press Office of the Mayor of Milan where she was in charge of Foreign Media and Expo Milano 2015.
